2024 RHY National Grantee TrainingDecember 4-6, 2024 Thank you to all who attended the 2024 Runaway and Homeless Youth National Grantee Training, this year's event was more meaningful because of your participation. Together with colleagues from communities nationwide and the invaluable insights from youth and young adults, we exchanged knowledge, experiences, and creativity that have driven action and enhanced youth leadership. This year marked 50 years of the Runaway and Homeless Youth Act (RHYA) - five decades of action, impact, and legacy. Participants enjoyed interactive workshop sessions and networking opportunities. These events provided a platform for us to connect and share ideas with those who work with youth and young adults experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity. We commemorated these last 50 years of commitment (#RHYA50) to supporting youth and young adults, honoring the legacy of our dedication to ending youth homelessness by elevating the voices and experiences of impacted youth. We also found inspiration in our keynote speakers, Dr. Matt Morton and Lasada Pippen and the ways in which we all can continue to inspire change and build a brighter tomorrow. We hope this year's National Training has inspired you with renewed commitment to learn from each other's experiences and has boosted your confidence to collaboratively address challenges as we work towards our common goals within the community and the field.
